Completing identity verification

Verification unlocks deposits, withdrawals and rewards. Most of it is automated and takes a few minutes.

What you need

• A valid, unexpired government ID — passport, national ID or driver's licence
• A phone camera
• Reasonable lighting

The steps

1. Go to Profile → Verification.
2. Select your country and document type.
3. Photograph the front, and the back if asked.
4. Complete the liveness check by following the on-screen prompts.
5. Submit and wait. You will be notified when it completes.

Passing first time

• Even, indirect light. Not direct sun, not a dim room.
• All four corners of the document inside the frame.
• Tilt slightly to avoid glare rather than shooting flat under a light.
• Remove glasses and hats for the liveness check.
• The name on the document must match your account exactly.
