Creating your Zelencio account

Creating an account takes about three minutes. Do these steps in order — securing the account before funding it matters.

1. Open the app or tap Sign Up on this site.
2. Enter your legal name exactly as it appears on your ID. A mismatch here causes verification to fail later.
3. Use an email address you control and have not reused a password on.
4. Choose a username. This is what other users see in P2P trades — it is not your real name.
5. Set a password of at least twelve characters, unique to Zelencio.
6. Enter a referral code if you have one. It must be added at signup — it cannot be applied afterwards.
7. Confirm your email from the link we send.
8. Turn on two-factor authentication before depositing anything.

If the confirmation email does not arrive

Check spam and promotions folders. If it is still missing after ten minutes, request it again from the sign-in screen. Some corporate and school email systems block automated mail entirely — a personal address is more reliable.
