Understanding withdrawal fees

Crypto withdrawals carry the network fee โ€” paid to the blockchain, not to us. It varies with congestion and by network, and is shown before you confirm.

The fee ignores the amount

Sending $10 costs the same as sending $10,000. You are paying for computation, not value. This is why small withdrawals on expensive networks are poor value.

Paying less

  • Use a cheaper network. USDT on Tron costs cents; on Ethereum it can cost dollars.
  • Batch. One withdrawal of $1,000 costs one fee. Ten of $100 cost ten.
  • Time it. Network fees fall outside peak hours.

A rule of thumb

If the fee exceeds 1% of the amount, wait or change network.
